Our Mission Statement
To know Christ and to make Him known.
Our Vision
The vision of our church is one of education, outreach, and teen care. We need to nurture and honor our congregants in all stages of lives. We need to break out of the confines of our church campus and begin offering Bible studies in new locations to reach people where they are: colleges, restaurants, public spaces, and prison.
We must become more intentional about promoting our programs in the community using mass media, targeted communities, and individuals who have limited interaction with First Presbyterian Church. The resources of this church need to be employed towards greater impact in peoples' lives through the development of job opportunities, life-skill training, and housing development.
Children, teens, and young adults need to have programs that authentically engage them concerning sex, drugs, and suicide. We need to raise up Youth Apostles who are empowered to positively affect their school environment, as we broaden our youth ministry to include neighborhood teens also.
